Our Mission

Sardis Classical Christian Community exists to equip and empower parents to give their child such a beautiful education that it overflows into the community making a measurable difference.

Character

Proverbs 11:3

We believe education begins and ends within the heart of a student. A student can have all the knowledge in the world, but without character much will be wasted. A student’s heart and character are always the most important pieces of their education.

Community

Acts 2:42-47

We believe we were created to do life together. We do this by creating a partnership between a teacher and parent working together to educate their child. The parents play as important a role in their child’s education as their teachers, and we equip them to do so with confidence. We aim to build deep lasting relationships for the entire family that overflow into the community around us.

Curriculum

Proverbs 19:8 - Philippians 4:9

We believe our curriculum should inspire students to see the good, the true, and the beautiful all around them. Our curriculum is intentionally chosen to teach students to have a desire for learning for the rest of their lives.

Core Virtues

  • Love Jesus and Love People - We believe this is the single most important thing we can teach our children. This virtue is the core of everything we do.

  • Parental Support and Empowerment - We recognize a parent’s role in a child’s life should remain paramount.

  • Biblical Literacy - We desire to take children beyond stories and sermons. We strive for an understanding of the history, text, and context of the scripture.

  • Classical Christian Education - We aim to instill a lifelong love of learning in all our students utilizing great books, art, science, and nature study that display the good, the true, and the beautiful. We fully embrace the trivium model.

  • Appreciation for the Arts and Nature - We believe the study and experience of fine arts and nature are just as important as reading, writing, and arithmetic and should be studied daily.
