Wisdom Begins
Starting your child from the beginning of their educational career in a classical Christian curriculum based on the good, the true, and the beautiful will ensure that the entirety of their education will be firmly rooted in wisdom. Sardis is the only classical Christian school in the area.
-
Truth Endures
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9 :10). A classical Christian education equips parents to raise their children in the Lord’s culture (paideia). It is more than daily Bible stories but an impartation of truth in every lesson and every activity.

Wonder Grows
As classical Christian educators, our goal is not to teach subjects but to cultivate a sense of wonder in your child so they become lifelong lovers of learning. Our students explore art, music, and nature study every day through integration with their daily lessons.

FAQs
How does a hybrid program work?
Students come to class on site three days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) to attend class. They are home with you on Mondays and Thursdays. Kindergarten students will come home with a lesson plan and assignments to complete with you on home days. PreK students do not have any required home day work.
Do you offer a 5 day program?
At this point in time we are only offering our 3 day hybrid model. However, if the need arises from our enrolled families we are considering opening a 5 day option in the Fall of 2026.
What does a class day look like for my child?
Class days start at 8 am and ends at 3 pm. In addition to reading, writing, and arithmetic your child will be invited to revel in the wonder of history, science, art, music, and nature. Whether that involves recreating famous paintings while listening to Beethoven, hearing stories of heroes from bygone eras while sipping tea, or watching a caterpillar transform into a butterfly in the garden our goal is to awaken your children’s curiosity of the world around them.
Will my child receive instruction in the fine arts?
Yes! Our program includes instruction in core academics (reading, writing, arithmetic, history, and science) as well as in art, music, and agrarian studies.
How many students will be in my child’s class?
Our PreK class maximum is 10 students and our Kindergarten class maximum is 12 students.
Will I need to purchase the curriculum?
No, we provide everything your student needs aside from basic school supplies (paper, crayons, pencils, etc.) and uniforms.
I am not a teacher, how will I know what to do?
Fear not! We are here to help! You will be given every tool needed to be successful. not only do we provide the lesson plans and curriculum but we also host regular parent training events to equip you to be an active part of your child’s education and regular community events to help you form connections with other families and parents on the same journey.
How much work will my student have on home days?
PreK students will bring home optional activities to add to their in class learning. These activities are completely optional and are meant to add fun to your days, not stress. In addition, PreK families meet up at least once a month for outdoor field trips and activities. Kindergarten students are required to complete reading, writing, and math activities on home days. In Kindergarten these activities should take no longer than an hour.
What curriculum do you use?
We use a variety of curriculum options including curriculum written by our classically trained teachers. We do use an Orton-Gillingham based phonics program and Singapore math.
